It is hard to imagine what life would be like if I had a serious illness. For instance, my life would change drastically if I had a car accident and became disabled forever.

In the first place, I would have to learn how to properly use a wheelchair and use my arms as efficiently as possible if my legs were paralysed. I would have to adapt all my life and my surroundings to the fact that I could no longer walk. My house would have to be remodelled so as to create wheel access to every room. In addition, I would not be able to take the bus any more by myself and it would no longer take me five minutes to get to school on foot in the mornings.

Furthermore, I would need help from my family to do common every day acitivities and I would become dependent on them.
